How do you design analytics for users who aren't data-savvy?
Start with their questions, not with data. What decision are they trying to make? What would change if the number was higher or lower? Build the simplest thing that answers that question, then iterate based on what they actually do with it.
How do you balance custom partner requests with scalable solutions?
Every custom request is a signal about what should be productized. When OCPS needed cluster reporting, I built it in a way that could extend to any partner with regional structures. The extra upfront effort paid off when other partners asked for the same thing.
